17/18U: The Motor City Hit Dogs are the 18U champions. They turned in a 3-1 performance during pool play which was second in their pool and snuck them into the bracket. They battled through a high scoring affair in the quarterfinals and defeated the Dbacks Elite 11-9. In the semi-finals, Motor City continued the hot bats and had solid pitching to propel them to an 8-0 run rule win. They met up with Ohio Elite Baseball, the #1 seed, in the championship game. The bats were scorching hot as they were all day and they battled to come out on top 11-7 to win the ship!
