Our 17U National Championship took place last week in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Indiana Bulls Black had an impressive showing all week long. A dominant showing in pool play saw them go 4-0 while scoring 41 runs and only allowing 4 scored. This earned them the 3 seed overall in the championship bracket. After defeating in state rival Indiana Mustangs in the first round, they went on to win a tightly contested game against the 17U Landsharks to close out Saturday. Sunday forced the Bulls into a triple header. They defeated midwest power Midland by a score of 6-2. The semi-finals saw a tightly contested pitching duel with NMC. The offense was able to do enough to secure a 3-0 win and send them to the championship. It may have been their 3rd game, but the bats came ready to play. They rolled 10-1 on their way to secure the 17U National Championship!
